Responsibilities as CEO include overall firm leadership, strategic planning, and the overall growth and vision for the firm; became the firm’s fourth CEO and first and only female CEO in the history of the accounting profession among the top 25 firms (2009); spent 30 year career with Clifton Gunderson having joined as an associate accountant in 1978 and admitted as partner in 1985.
Committed and passionate about people and growing strong leaders; received numerous awards and recognition for leadership; honored by Accounting Today as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting” – 2008 and 2009.
Instrumental in introducing the firm to a new human resource structure that enabled the firm to hire the right people, develop their talents and create an exciting and flexible work environment; introduced the firm to WIN@CG: Women’s Initiative Now - an initiative which promotes a culture that grows women leaders (2008).
