Clifton Gunderson audit professionals offer three levels of assurance services—audit, review and compilation.
All work is performed in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA).
Audit – An audit is the highest level and most common assurance service. It is a
comprehensive, risk-based examination of an organization's financial statements which culminates in an opinion
on their fairness.
Review – A review engagement provides "limited assurance" regarding the
fairness of your financial statements. We perform analytical procedures and inquiries of management that take
less time and are substantially less comprehensive than audits.
Compilation – Organizations needing assistance in preparing financial statements may
choose our compilation services. Our professionals will assist your staff in compiling the information needed to
deliver statements meeting AICPA standards. No assurance is given concerning the accuracy of underlying financial
information.
