MILWAUKEE (January 30, 2012)- Kris McMasters, chief executive officer of CliftonLarsonAllen, today announced the approval of seven new partners for admission to the firm.
Travis Chamberlain has been named partner in the firm's Indianapolis office. He has more than 10 years experience in providing valuation, forensic accounting and financial modeling services to a variety of publicly-traded and privately-held companies. Chamberlain has performed valuations of businesses, intangible assets, derivatives, and various other instruments, including securities in complex capital structures. He performs valuation projects for numerous purposes, including financial reporting, tax, merger and acquisitions, private equity investment, initial public offering readiness and capital budgeting. Chamberlain is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in accounting. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) by the American Society of Appraisers, a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He currently serves as a member of the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee, the senior technical committee of the AICPA that is authorized to promulgate professional standards with respect to valuation matters. He is Chair of the Emerging Issues Task Force and serves as a member of the Standards Task Force. Chamberlain also serves on the AICPA's Equity Securities taskforce responsible for rewriting the AICPA Practice Aid Valuation of Privately-Held-Company Equity Securities Issued as Compensation. He is past member of the AICPA Business Valuation Committee.
Qasim Collidge has been named partner in the firm's Baltimore office. He has more than 25 years of public accounting experience and specializes in planning and managing audit engagements, providing acquisition accounting consulting, due diligence, and purchase price accounting assistance for commercial middle market companies in the manufacturing, distribution, service, and technology industries. Collidge also has extensive experience with providing guidance and accounting assistance with internal control systems development. Collidge received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Albright College and is a member of the AICPA and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. In 2009, SmartCEO magazine recognized him as one of the region's top 25 certified public accountants.
Randie Dial has been named partner in the firm's Indianapolis office. He has spent the last 14 years focusing on business valuation engagements, especially on valuations for financial reporting. Dial also has experience in performing valuations for estate/gift tax purposes, ESOPs, and marital dissolutions. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Ball State University. Dial is a CPA and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA. He has also attained the ASA designation from the American Society of Appraisers and is Certified in Machinery and Equipment Appraisal (CMEA) by the NEBB Institute. Dial continues to serve the accounting profession by being involved in the AICPA's Business Valuation Committee and its national conference planning committees.
Jennifer Hammond has been named partner in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. She has more than 13 years of Big 4 forensic accounting experience specializing in reactive confidential investigations and proactive risk management assessments. Hammond is responsible for leading accounting investigations related to fraud, waste and abuse in public and private companies, nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies. She also has extensive international experience conducting investigations and enhancing compliance programs related to general fraud, bribery and corruption, money laundering and other regulatory requirements for organizations. Hammond received her bachelor's degree from the University of Baltimore and her master's from the University of Baltimore - School of Business. She graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore -School of Law. She is a member of various Bar Associations, including the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Society of Corporate Ethics & Compliance and an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Elliott Leary has been named partner in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. He has more than 30 years of experience conducting high profile investigations as a special agent with the FBI and as the KPMG partner-in-charge of the Washington, D.C. forensic practice. Leary performs fraud and misconduct investigations and risk assessments for leading national and multi-national corporations as well as for public and nonprofit entities. He has assisted clients in the prevention and deterrence of fraud through the evaluation, development and implementation of anti-fraud programs and controls. Leary has served as the chairman of the AICPA's Fraud Advisory Group, on the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Subcommittee and the AICPA Anti-Fraud Coordinating Committee. He has lectured to private organizations and law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. and internationally and has been honored with numerous awards and citations.
Jamey Rappis has been named partner in the firm's Milwaukee office. Rappis joined the firm in 2007 and is a leader in CliftonLarsonAllen's Private Tax consulting practice. He has extensive experience in the areas of estate & gift tax, estate & business succession planning, and retirement planning. Rappis leads the Private Tax consulting practice leveraging his tax and estate planning expertise across the firm to high net worth families and individuals. He is the firm's lead in reviewing and monitoring legislative, regulatory, and case law activity and is responsible for providing a national tax presence on high level tax consulting with new prospects and current clients in the areas of estate planning and business succession planning. With more than 17 years of experience, Rappis is a licensed attorney and has an extensive background with a specific emphasis on IRS controversies, including field, appellate and tax court audit levels. Rappis received his bachelor's degree from Notre Dame and his Juris Doctor in law from Marquette University. He is a member of the Waukesha County Estate Planning Council, the Wisconsin State Bar, and the United State Tax Court.
Tim Reynolds has been named partner in the firms St. Joseph, Mo. office. He has more than 18 years of private industry and public accounting experience. He specializes in tax services for corporations, partnerships and high net-worth individuals with an emphasis on businesses in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries. Reynolds also has extensive experience with Federal and State income tax compliance, income tax accounting/provision services and uncertain tax positions. Reynolds received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Toledo and is a CPA. He is a member of the AICPA and the Missouri Society of CPAs.
